Configuration

MedICS Docs edited this page Sep 16, 2026 · 1 revision

Configuration

MedICS configuration lives in config.ini (INI format). Defaults are created on first launch when the file is missing. Changes via ConfigManager.set() are written back to disk.

Location

The runtime config directory is managed by ConfigManager.get_config_dir() (platform-dependent user config path used by the installed app). The packaged defaults ship under medics/config/ in the source tree.
