World Map Full Resolution Export
Export Map
The Map Viewer now includes a full Export Map feature for rendering the loaded world map as a high-resolution isometric image.
Export Options
• Zoom level (1–44 px/tile) controls output resolution
• Include statics with hue coloring, translucency, and partial-hue support
• Region selection — export the entire map or a custom rectangular area
• HTML & Minimap Only — regenerate the viewer, minimap, and globe texture without re-rendering tiles
• Mipmap Only — rebuild the mipmap pyramid from existing tiles
Output
• Small maps (≤100 MP) export as a single PNG/JPEG/BMP file
• Large maps export as a folder of 512×512 JPEG tiles with:
• viewer.html — interactive pan/zoom viewer (drag to pan, wheel to zoom, clickable minimap, automatic mipmap level switching)
• minimap.jpg — isometric radar-color overview
• globe_texture.png — composited image from the coarsest mipmap level for 3D globe projection
• L1/…LN/ — mipmap tile pyramids for efficient zoomed-out viewing
Rendering
• Textured isometric projection with deformed terrain (Z-height per corner)
• NoDraw land tiles and statics are automatically filtered out
• Depth-sorted rendering (painter's algorithm) with foliage layering
• Parallel tile rendering across all CPU cores
• Art assets pre-serialized to byte arrays for lock-free multi-threaded access
• Cancellable export with real-time progress reporting
