Switchboard 1.1.7
- Added three switches to the settings gear: Record Clipboard History, Open Shelf During File Drags, and Command-Delete Ejects Disks in Finder. Turning off Record Clipboard History also forgets the clips already held.
- Added Red Button Never Quits to the settings gear. Check an app there, such as a music player, to keep it running after its last window closes.
- Copy text from the screen no longer holds up the panel and the other shortcuts while the text is being read. The first read can take up to a minute while macOS gets text recognition ready, so the panel now says it is reading, and Switchboard prepares text recognition in the background shortly after it launches.
- Fixed the panel opening for a moment and closing again after Copy text from the screen was started from the panel over a full-screen app.
- Fixed the Keep Mac awake menu sitting in the middle of its column instead of lining up with the other controls.
- Traditional mouse scrolling and a window switcher shortcut set to Command-Tab no longer hold up scrolling and key presses across the Mac while Switchboard is busy.
- An app's audio output choice is now remembered after the app quits.
- The panel no longer slows down when clipboard history holds a very large text clip. A very long clip shows its first 20,000 characters when expanded; Copy still copies all of it.
- Fixed a screenshot converted to JPEG or HEIC appearing twice in clipboard history. The temporary files made for converted screenshots are now deleted when Switchboard quits.
- Fixed the file shelf's Add files button doing nothing until Switchboard was relaunched, after the shelf had been closed with its file picker open.
- Command-Delete in Finder no longer ejects a disk while you're typing in a text field, such as when renaming it.
- Clicking the menu bar icon to close the panel no longer pauses for a third of a second first.
- Fixed Quit in Using the most sometimes asking one of an app's helper processes to quit, which could close a browser tab instead of the browser.
- Fixed the network reading dropping to zero for one update each time 4 GB had passed through a connection.
- Fixed toggles showing the wrong state for a setting that another tool had saved as text.
- Notices that ask for Accessibility or Screen Recording access now link to the right pane in System Settings.
- The welcome window now covers the file shelf and the window switcher.
- Reduced background work during window drags while Snap windows is on.

Switchboard 1.1.6
- Added Using the most to the System tab. It lists the five apps or processes using the most CPU or memory, with an app's helper processes counted toward the app. Click Quit beside an app to ask it to quit, as the Dock does, so it can still ask you to save your work.
- Added menu bar readings. Under Show in menu bar in the System tab, check CPU, GPU, Memory, Network, or Battery to see them in their own menu bar item, updated every two seconds. Click the readings to open System.
- Added more ways to keep your Mac awake: until an app you choose quits, or while it's plugged in on Macs with a battery. Check Let display sleep in the same menu to keep the Mac running while the screen turns off.
- Reduced background CPU use when Red button quits the app is turned on.

Switchboard 1.1.5
- Added update checking. Switchboard asks GitHub once a day whether a newer version is out and shows a notice with a link to the release page. Nothing is downloaded or installed for you. Choose Check for Updates… from the settings gear to check now, or turn off Check for Updates Automatically to stop the daily check.

Switchboard 1.1.0
- Added Window switcher in Everyday. It replaces Command-Tab with a card for every window, so two windows of the same app get separate cards, including windows on other Spaces and full-screen apps. Hold Command and press Tab to cycle, then release to switch. Option-` cycles the current app's windows. It is off by default and needs Accessibility access. Turning it off, or quitting Switchboard, brings back the macOS switcher.
- In the switcher, move the pointer over a card to select it, or press Q to quit the selected app. Apps that are running with all their windows closed are listed at the bottom.
- Allow Screen Recording to see window previews, including full-screen, minimized and hidden windows. Previews stay in memory and are never written to disk.
- Fixed the Switchboard panel sometimes freezing while Snap windows or Red button quits the app was on.
- Fixed the settings panel scrolling sideways.

Switchboard 1.0.9
- Fixed screenshot destination settings on macOS 27. Turning off Copy screenshots to clipboard now saves screenshots to the selected folder.
- The clipboard toggle now reflects the destination macOS actually uses, keeping clipboard image conversion in sync.

Version 1.0.9 (build 30). Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
Switchboard 1.0.8
- Added a welcome window. The first time you open Switchboard it shows where the menu bar icon is, the shortcut that opens the panel, and what each section does. Open Switchboard closes it and opens the panel.
- The welcome window appears once for each installed copy. Relaunching never shows it again. Deleting Switchboard and installing it again shows it, and so does installing an update from a new DMG, including this one.
