v0.1.1 GBAPQuest - The AP Compatibility Update

Choose a tag to compare

@Meliacci Meliacci released this 30 Jul 05:08

Well... it's been a while, but I finally Made it AP Compatible, I did need to make some changes to the Sprite Loading, but it's finally Able to be Played with AP Randomization! Please read the setup at the GBAPquest-AP Repository

This will be The final Feature-Relevant Update, as i do not want to redo my Patching Code. Music, Sound Effects and other such elements may still change from this version forward, but nothing that would affect the Mechanics of the game.

Please get your APWorld From The GBAPQuest-AP Release

It is not the correct Music Yet(Working with NewSoupVi to port it) But it is a Proof of Concept!

I have also now added a Way to change between Hardmode, Hammermode and Extra Starting Chest Mode!

Save files are also now fixed and shouldn't have too many issues unless you go digging around it Manually.

WE ARE PLAYABLE

so... We are finally playable, even if the Save system is Borked Right now.

If you just want to play, all you need is a GBA Emulator or Real Hardware to Play with.

This was Mainly tested on No$GBA so any Behaviour in Real hardware and Other Emulators is as of Now untested.

If you just want to play ignore everything after this

Controls

D-PAD: Directional Movement, Tap to Move one tile
B-Button: Interact with the Object in front of you.
SELECT: Save your Inventory to Save File. Currently it makes you able to Duplicate Items
START: Load Saved items. If Restarting after save, Makes you able to Duplicate Items

What does this Mean for Development of the Apworld?

Currently Nothing, there is still a lot that needs to be integrated before it's stable enough to get an APworld
