Envy v0.3.0 — first open-source release
Envy is now free and open source under the MIT license.
- No more license keys or trials — every feature is unlocked for everyone, on as many machines as you like. The licensing system is gone entirely.
- Updates now come from GitHub Releases — the app checks here automatically; existing installs keep working as-is.
- No telemetry — the only network call Envy makes is this update check.
- Linux ships as AppImage (x64 & arm64) — the previous
.debpackages were broken and have been dropped.
Downloads: macOS universal .dmg (Apple Silicon & Intel), Windows installer (x64 & arm64), Linux AppImage. Source, issues, and contributions: this repository.
