Envy is now free and open source under the MIT license.

  • No more license keys or trials — every feature is unlocked for everyone, on as many machines as you like. The licensing system is gone entirely.
  • Updates now come from GitHub Releases — the app checks here automatically; existing installs keep working as-is.
  • No telemetry — the only network call Envy makes is this update check.
  • Linux ships as AppImage (x64 & arm64) — the previous .deb packages were broken and have been dropped.
