Memmy v1.2.3

Highlights

  • Built on the verified v1.2.3-rc.7 baseline, carrying forward the integrated WeChat and History improvements, Excel workbook authorization, blank-screen recovery, first-run report responsiveness, browser fixes, and legacy-user migration fixes.
  • Improved macOS restart-intent handling after guiding users through Full Disk Access or Automation settings, together with Computer Use Accessibility, Input Monitoring, and Screen Recording permissions. Trusted “quit and reopen” events retain short-lived restart intent, while logout, shutdown, and ordinary quits remain protected.
  • Improved Excel connection-state handling with gentle notices for transient failures, retry guidance for persistent failures, and stale-error clearing after recovery. Explicit authorization denial, a locked screen, and multiple Excel processes continue to show actionable guidance, while Excel read/write behavior and existing workbook authorization remain unchanged.
  • Improved browser authorization and automation across the embedded browser and Chrome/Edge extensions, including input focus, rich-text verification, background wake and reconnect recovery, subpages, popups, navigation, and extension version 1.0.12.
  • Added web semantic records to Computer History and grouped computer-history memories under Memmy, while fixing Windows History full-content capture and PowerShell 5.1 icon reading. History pause, excluded-site, and sensitive-content filtering remain enforced.

Agent and Desktop improvements

  • Added the confirmed 20px top and bottom spacing for scheduled-reply dividers while retaining the rc.6 pale-green background and 1px inner line.
  • Expanded WeChat connection discovery on macOS and Windows, including application location, private Python, key retrieval, data-directory discovery, multi-account detection, and complete per-account message-database validation. Failed Windows reads now remove plaintext temporary copies; connection results still require validation on real user devices.
  • Improved Windows installer feedback during directory checks and startup callbacks by showing “Checking” and “Starting” states and recording startup results and duration.
  • Improved Windows History native high-resolution icon extraction with transparency and shortcut fallback, and retained the existing skill-card approval-button style and History settings dividers.
  • Clarified browser-extension settings states for not installed, disabled, and unreadable status. When a running Chrome/Edge browser is explicitly selected, unreadable configuration no longer blocks on-demand wake-up; the flow waits for the real extension handshake while preserving disabled, missing, and cancelled-task boundaries.

Upgrade notes

  • Memmy Desktop and Agent are version 1.2.3.
  • The bundled Memory service, viewer, and CLI remain independently versioned. Memory remains at 2.1.6, and the Memory protocol remains version 1.
  • Existing accounts, chats, attachments, settings, History exclusion rules, WeChat authorization and cursors, and Windows data-directory migration paths are retained.
  • Static source and installer checks do not replace real installation and in-place upgrade validation. Mac and Windows users should retain existing data while validating the upgrade on their devices.
