LAN Audio v1.7.1
LAN Audio v1.7.1
v1.7.1 is a patch release for the v1.7 line. It keeps the v1.7 audio path and feature set unchanged, and focuses on update-check correctness plus release pipeline hardening.
Fixed
- Corrected the GitHub Releases API endpoint on desktop and Android from
lan-audio/lan-audiotoMengBad/lan-audio. - Moved Android update checks onto
Dispatchers.IO, then returns results toDispatchers.Main, avoidingNetworkOnMainThreadException. - Verified desktop manual update checks use the non-blocking update path so a slow GitHub request cannot freeze the Tauri UI thread.
- Aligned the tag-driven Release workflow with the fixed Android keystore-backed
local.propertiessigning flow. - Published Android version
1.7.1with versionCode3071, preserving patch-release upgrade order from v1.7.
Runtime Path
- Main path:
windows_loopback + v2_header + opus - Rollback path:
legacy_las1 + pcm16(permanently retained; use--force-rollbackor desktop safe mode) - Codec status:
opusis stable on the recommended Protocol v2 path; PCM16 remains the rollback codec.

Verified Scope
- Local validation:
scripts/validate_local.ps1passed. - Local packaging:
scripts/package_release.ps1 -Cleanpassed with Android split APKs and Windows EXE generated. - Release workflow: Android APKs, Windows EXE, protocol coverage upload, and GitHub Release publishing all passed.
- v1.7 latency probe baseline:
low_latency p95=64ms,balanced p95=185ms,high_quality p95=505ms. - v1.7 verified scenarios remain:
USB direct,WiFi + windows_loopback, and2 Android clients.
Known Limitations
- Desktop per-device disconnect command is deferred to v1.8.
