Marco v0.2.0 - Now he's coherent! (ish)

The way Marco works has been substantially overhauled. Personality trigger words are gone.

Marco fixes on a personality, which he generates using a more dynamic algorithm than before (allowing ChatGPT to synthesize a role to play, instead of just getting a few random words). Then he sticks with that personality until it's time to re-roll. Marco will re-roll a personality whenever one of the following happens.

  • A user issues a !marco reroll command.
  • Approximately 40 minutes have passed since the last time someone spoke to Marco, AND someone has spoken to him since the last personality change.

Other Changes

  • Marco's current personality name is displayed as his "activity" in Discord.
  • New command: !marco reroll to force a personality re-roll.
  • Marco now remembers not just messages that refer to him but all chat messages.
  • Added "frat boy" and "talking cat" base personality types.
  • Renamed "Yoda" to generic "Jedi master".
  • Removed several of the less interesting personality types.
