Changelog

  • Added automatic engine restart when clicking Apply after changing renderer properties, including the sample rate converter.
  • Added preservation of playback position, speed, volume, mute and running/paused state when applying settings.
  • Added fallback to the previous working configuration if new settings fail.
  • Improved playback speed responsiveness by avoiding unnecessary ASIO driver restarts (about 2–18 ms per rate call on the tested driver; varies by driver).
  • Improved settings changes by combining multiple property changes into one engine restart.
  • Fixed a synchronization issue during playback startup, seeking and stream flushing that could interrupt audio delivery.

Installation

  1. Download the ZIP for your MPC-HC architecture (x64 or x86).
  2. Close MPC-HC, extract the archive and run Install.cmd.
  3. Select your ASIO device, then select ARE Audio Renderer in MPC-HC's audio output settings.
