Changelog

  • Fixed Windows audio fallback by configuring MPC-HC to use ARE and disabling its incompatible internal Audio Switcher.
  • Restored the renderer settings button in Options → Playback → Output, without restricting integration to a specific MPC-HC version.
  • Fixed renderer properties to follow MPC-HC’s dark or light theme.
  • Fixed settings opened during playback to display the active renderer’s ASIO device and output details.
  • Fixed installation errors when renderer files are still loaded. Identical files are reused, while changed binaries are installed separately.
  • Improved uninstallation to restore previous MPC-HC settings while retaining saved ASIO preferences.
  • Fixed the settings helper keeping the extracted release folder locked after installation.

Installation

  1. Download the ZIP matching your MPC-HC architecture: x64 or x86.
  2. Close MPC-HC, extract the archive and run Install.cmd.
  3. Select your ASIO device, click Apply, then restart MPC-HC.
