Use this to: clean up and upscale videos. One video or a batch, same settings for the whole batch.
- Open
Videotab. - Drop videos in
Input video(s). - For first try: leave Neural settings default, set
Encoding quality: Auto,Codec: H.264,Container: MP4. - Press
Preview 3 sec(appears when exactly 1 video selected) to test look + speed. - Press
Render video(s). - Right side: player +
Rendered video files+Batch resultstable.
Players show only for single-video jobs. Batches give files + table instead — that's by design.
Batch runs in the order you see, one by one. A failure doesn't stop the rest.
Advanced
-
Codec: plain
H.264 / H.265 / AV1uses CPU encoding.... (NVIDIA NVENC)uses GPU encoding. Neural enhancement itself still requires a supported NVIDIA RTX GPU.ProRes Proxy= CPU-only, needs MKV or MOV. -
Quality:
Autopicks bitrate from size / FPS / codec.Good = 2x,Best = 4x,Max= lossless-ish. Bigger = slower + larger file. - Container: MP4 plays everywhere. MKV keeps subtitles + all audio tracks. MOV needed for some ProRes workflows.
- HDR Mode: off by default. Turn on only with H.265 / AV1 / ProRes if your source is HDR and you want to keep HDR (10-bit). H.264 stays SDR.
-
Rename:
Auto= timestamp,Copy= keep original name,Custom= add your suffix. Existing files are never overwritten. -
Stop: cancels current encode, deletes only the unfinished file. Done files stay, queued files become
Skipped. - Kept automatically: timing, rotation, metadata, chapters. Audio → AAC 192k in MP4/MOV, copied in MKV when compatible.
- If final player says
transcoded to H.264, that's just the preview — your file inoutputs/is unchanged. See Preview Encoding in Settings Explained.
