What's new

  • Hosting no longer fails just because the data folder contains many old session backups. The eight most recently changed sessions are restored; older backup files are left untouched. When necessary, only an inactive saved room is removed from memory to free a slot.
  • Incoming session data now has a nesting-depth guard. If a client-side sync error occurs, Collabsprite prints a Lua traceback once in Aseprite's console to help diagnose reports such as ‘Stack overflow’.
  • The network protocol remains version 3. For this update, install v0.6.3 on both host and guest.

Install

Download the single Collabsprite.aseprite-extension asset below, add it through Aseprite Preferences → Extensions → Add Extension, and restart Aseprite. This remains a beta; if ‘Stack overflow’ persists, share the first complete Collabsprite traceback from the Aseprite console.
