Plasticity MCP v0.2.2

  • Prevent repeated native-wrapper allocation on unchanged scenes by caching serialized body topology (#2, #3).
  • Correct solid volume centroids and face area centroids using native mass properties (#1, #4, #5, #6).
  • Add native asymmetric-centroid and topology-invalidation acceptance.

Validation: Plasticity 26.1.3; 486-body synthetic benchmark with 34,020 faces, 99,144 edges and 66,096 vertices. Over 12 repeated reads, Malloc Small grew 2.989 GiB with v0.2.1 versus 1.469 MiB with the fix. Median state-read time improved from 4.830 s to 1.602 s. The original contributor model was unavailable. The underlying native wrapper lifecycle is not repaired; a cold traversal still allocates memory.

Package, lockfile, Codex plugin and MCP server handshake versions are 0.2.2. The Workbench package keeps its independent version. See the benchmark report for the method and archived samples.

Validation: 1368 root tests passed with none skipped; root typecheck and CI checks for root and Workbench passed on the release preparation commit. The final release commit only updates the changelog date.

Plasticity MCP 0.2.1 is the first GitHub release of the local preview for Plasticity 26.1.3 on macOS Apple Silicon.

  • npm start and the Codex plugin now expose 10 core tools plus plasticity_call. The dispatcher can still discover and invoke every registered operation with its original validation and handler.
  • npm run start:full retains the full direct tool catalog for clients and acceptance workflows that need it.
  • No CAD operation was rewritten for this release.

The server requires a local Plasticity installation and cannot operate as a hosted cloud CAD service. See the README for setup and the acceptance matrix for verified operations and current limitations.
