Critical Bug Fix

Fixed Global Hotkey Startup Issue

  • Issue: Global hotkeys failed to work when MicControlX launched minimized to system tray on Windows startup
  • Impact: Users had to manually open the main window once before hotkeys would function
  • Solution: Complete architectural redesign using message-only window pattern for proper Windows API integration
  • Technical Details: Replaced window-dependent hotkey registration with dedicated HotkeyManager class that uses Windows message-only windows for background operation
