# on the linsys partition (ext4, GPT name "linsys"), the initramfs mounts it as /
mkfs.ext4 -L linsys /dev/block/by-name/linsys

Then, from this repository: release/linboot-20261006.img into the linboot slot, uboot/boot_b-linboot-v3.img into boot_b, clear misc, power on cold. Full walk-through, partition numbers and the way back to Android: docs/DEPLOY.md.

How it was verified / 校验方式

The packer does not trust the board it runs on (see below), so it checks four ways and retries: zstd -t on the artifact; the decoded stream hashed twice with the page cache dropped in between; tar -d comparing every packed file against the staged tree; and a grep of the decoded stream for the live WiFi credentials. All four passed, and the sha256 above was re-verified after copying the file off the device. scripts/verify-rootfs.sh reproduces the checks for a download.

sha256sum tb710fu-rootfs-20261006.tar.zst # must match the line above
zstd -t tb710fu-rootfs-20261006.tar.zst # "ok"

What was removed / 已脱敏

The image is a copy of a running system, so the per-machine and personal parts were taken out and templates put back: the WiFi SSID/PSK (including the ones hard-coded in tb-wifi-up.sh), Bluetooth pairings, the browser profiles (Chromium/Falkon) and their history, ~/.ssh and the ssh host keys, fwupd's per-machine signing key, shell/KDE history and state, logs, and /etc/machine-id. tb-firstboot.service regenerates machine-id, ssh host keys and hostname on the first boot of a deployment.

  • docs/KNOWN-ISSUES.md — WiFi is slow (it needs the broadcast-DHCP quirk, phy0 only appears ~110 s after a cold boot, and the driver has hung this board and still prints softirq warnings, which is why WiFi is loaded on demand); the speakers play but the sound is badly distorted (the path is wired up end to end — codec, AW882xx amps and topology all probe); Bluetooth audio was tested with headphones only; snap/flatpak cannot work (CLONE_NEWUSER returns EPERM); and one serious bug is written up in full: the bootloader's splash framebuffer was never reserved, so the kernel's own boot console scribbled over pages the allocator had handed out — which silently corrupted large files (a 4 GiB write hashed differently from the page cache than from disk). That is fixed in the shipped DTB and in the U-Boot source (see MeteoricmeteorLL/Uboot-For-TB710FU, release fbreg-20261006); the evidence chain is in §1 of that document.
  • Firmware is included here and in firmware/ — vendor blobs, published deliberately so the image works out of the box. Provenance, the credit to SpendyYT and the "I need a clean licence" path are in docs/RELEASE.md §4 and firmware/README.md.
  • No recovery image is distributed here. Bring your own (TWRP builds for this device exist in the community) — flashing one overwrites recovery_a, which is why the DTB lives in linboot.
  • The root password is tb710fu (documented, so you can log in) — change it (passwd) on a device you care about.
