Thanks @StoffePro for the feedback...that seems to be a contested point recently. That was recently switched to "CCM" based on MicrosoftDocs/memdocs#1568. So let me check into why it might show differently. |

Interresting. I have four separate SCCM sites available to me at the moment the newest of which is on version 2107, and none of them have a site_ under CCM, while everyone has it under SMS. root\sms\site_ is also what we've given as the wmi namespace to the powershell cmdlets for as long as I've been working with sccm. There is also this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/develop/core/understand/sqlviews/wmi-namespaces-classes-configuration-manager-reports |

I should have checked the first time this came up, from engineering:
I’ve only ever seen it be SMS, if it’s CCM at times it must be for some pretty old sites. I think SMS is correct.
Thanks @StoffePro for making this contribution to fix it back! 😄

The documentation for OS upgrade of on-prem site server points users to fix permissions on CCM\site_. Should read SMS\site_sitecode.
