HttpClient documentation doesn't describe error states anywhere I can find

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/uwp/api/windows.web.http links to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/apps/develop/networking/httpclient, which does not contain any examples of VB or XAML, or any information about error handling other than printing the message.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/uwp/api/windows.web.http.httpclient.postasync links to both the aforementioned (reported from) httpclient page as well as https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/apps/dn263211(v=win.10) which only mentions how these errors may be handled in a JavaScript/HTML-based application specifically, and hints that these requests may be retried somehow, with no elaboration.

Where is the documentation on handling HttpClient errors?
