• Easier first launch: the DMG now includes How to Install.txt, with the steps to open the app the first time on macOS 14 and on macOS 15 or later.
• In English, the drive page and reports say “Internal SSD” instead of “SSD internal”.

Installation

1. Download Aman-Disk-0.9.2.dmg below, open it and drag Aman Disk into Applications.
2. The app isn't signed with an Apple Developer ID, so macOS blocks it the first time. On macOS 15 or later, go to System Settings › Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. On macOS 14, Control-click the app and choose Open. All the steps are in How to Install.txt and in the README.

Aman Disk 0.9.1

• Turning on S.M.A.R.T.: on a SATA drive where S.M.A.R.T. is turned off, Aman turns it on once (you can change this in Settings › General), then reads the drive again. If it fails, the error code is shown with a “Try Again” button.
• Help › Check for New Versions… opens this page. The app itself never checks the network.
• Issue templates (drive not recognized, other issue).

Aman never changes your data. One exception: it turns on S.M.A.R.T. if it's turned off (optional).
