config.yml
The plugin's config.yml only has a handful of options which most users can comfortably ignore. Here is an extended description of the config that expands upon the comments in the default config and describes in further detail how to use it.
The config-version is not something that should at all be edited by 99% of users. It is there so that if, in the future, I ever decide to make changes to the config structure or add more mandatory entries to the config I can have the plugin automatically detect what is missing and update your config file accordingly.
By default, this is set to true. While set to true, when a player on your server attempts to open any Enchanting Table it will instead open the custom Enchanting Window. Setting this to false removes this behavior in case you, the server owner, intend to use a different method for accessing the custom enchanting window and want the regular one to remain.
By default, this is set to true. While set to true, the enchanting table sound effect will play when a player successfully enchants an item in the enchanting table. The volume of this sound is tied to the UI slider.
This section of the config is meant for customizing the appearance of the custom enchanting window to suit your server's needs.
By default, this is set to true. When this is set to true, the custom enchanting window will be automatically filled with black stained glass panes EXCEPT for the slots in the window which are supposed to hold the item being enchanted, the material the player is enchanting with, the item that holds the level and material cost preview, and the slot that the result item appears in.
This is the name of the inventory that shows in the top left of every inventory window. By default this is set to 'Enchanting Table.' This config option is primarily meant to be used by those who have a custom GUI fontimage they want to use in the enchanting window.
These options all specify which slot in the inventory are to be used for the tool being enchanted, the material the player is enchanting with, the item that shows the level and material cost, and the resulting item after the enchant is applied.
This section is here to allow you to customize how the cost preview item shows up in the enchanting gui. By default, you can set the material field to any vanilla material (this defaults to ENCHANTED_BOOK). However, you can also specify a custom item here following the same format as the materials.yml custom item format. For example:
material: icon_right_blue
custom-material:
source: "itemsadder"
namespace: "_iainternal"This is the setup that I use on my own server, which runs ItemsAdder. This replaces the item with the arrow icon from ItemsAdder.
