馃殌 First Public Alpha

The first public release of Asher is now available!

Features

  • Modern WPF interface w/ Material Design
  • User configurations and settings
  • Enable/Disable built-in patches
  • Theme and Language selection and dynamic UI update
  • Initial infrastructure for future mod support
  • Uninstall and Restore original files from backup

Known limitations

  • Experimental release
  • Some planned features are not yet implemented

Installation

  1. Download Asher-v1.0.0.zip
  2. Extract it and run 'Asher.App.exe'
  3. Complete installation procedure and click on 'Start using Asher'
  4. Either start the game through Steam or through the 'Play Game' option and it should start the game patched!

Observations

  • The full Asher app, once it is installed successfully, is copied onto a new 'Asher' folder within the game folders, so you can delete the extracted files from the .zip file.
  • In case of accidentally uninstalling it, you can start 'Asher.App.exe' from the 'Asher' folder and repeat the installation procedure just fine. In other words, you don't have to download, extract and install again, you can just do that through the App executable in 'Asher'.
