What is expansionHint token on NetDeclaration?

Following is the syntax for NetDeclaration (from syntax.txt):

I'm confused about token expansionHint, I'm not being able to match it to a LRM grammar element. What is it?

The optional vectored or scalared keyword. See 6.9.2 in the LRM.

Just out of curiosity, being an optional keyword why does it not have the ? in the syntax.txt definition?

Tokens are always able to be optional, it's only child syntax nodes that need the ? to indicate whether it should be a pointer or a reference member in the generated struct.
