• Updates inside the app: when a newer release exists, a bar appears; Update now downloads the installer, verifies its SHA-256, installs and restarts the app. You can skip a version or turn the check off (PISCOUT_NO_UPDATE_CHECK=1). See PRIVACY.

• Health check in plain words: under-voltage, overheating, SD card errors, full disk, low memory, failed services and a wrong clock are checked every minute while you are connected. Problems show up as short warnings in the status bubble (click one for the advice); the bubble now starts collapsed and shows ⚠️/❌ next to the temperature. Read-only.
• Quick setup on the System info tab: enable I2C / SPI and time sync, install common tools (htop, git, tree, ncdu, curl), expand the filesystem. A fixed list of actions only.
• Much faster system info: reuses the terminal's SSH connection, uploads the agent only once, and reads the quick-setup state in one round trip.
• MCP gets a read-only pi_health tool.
• Tab no longer moves focus out of the terminal when you accept a suggestion.

• Drag and drop files onto the window to upload them over SFTP, with a progress bar. In the terminal tab they land in the folder your shell is currently in; in the remote desktop tab they go to the desktop.
• VS Code-style suggestions in the terminal: a popup appears while you type (commands, files, folders). Up/Down to choose, Tab to accept, Esc to close. Focus stays in the terminal.
• Startup is faster: the Pis seen last time are shown immediately, the scan runs in the background (cards are marked "last seen" / "not found this time").
• The status bubble can be dragged anywhere (double-click to reset).
• Tab completion now flashes the terminal border instead of beeping.
