Download

• Download OpenClip-v1.0-Windows.zip from the release assets.
• Do not download Source code (zip) unless you only want the developer files.
• After unzipping, open the OpenClip-v1.0-Windows folder and double-click OpenClip.exe.

Highlights

• Load local MP4 files.
• Import public video URLs.
• Analyze videos for candidate short moments.
• Review candidate clips in the app with scrub/play preview.
• Trim candidate clip start/end times.
• Favorite, reject, and choose which clips export.
• Export selected MP4 clips to a named folder.
• Export selected audio-only WAV clips to a named folder.
• Save analysis JSON.
• Send selected clips to DaVinci Resolve.
• Reset the app to a fresh-start state.

Default workflow for non-technical users

1. Upload an MP4 or import a URL.
2. Click Start.
3. Review and trim clips.
4. Click Export Audio for WAV files, or Export Clips for MP4 files.

Verification

• Python compile check passed for edited app files.
• Test suite passed with 115 tests.
• Packaged Windows app was built with PyInstaller from OpenClip.spec.
