PETAL is a World of Warcraft Retail addon that keeps a non-combat pet with you.

Choose your pets, assign situations, and PETAL handles the rest. If the current pet still matches, it stays out.

Setup

1. Type /petal.
2. Open Pets and select the pets you want to use.
3. Open Situations and choose where each pet can appear.
4. Open Settings to set a Change pet key, automatic shuffle, or dark mode.

PETAL waits when a pet cannot be summoned safely and checks again when it can.

Pet selection

Click a pet to select it. Use All pets, Favorites, or Selected to filter the list. Hover a pet to see its 3D model.

Situations

Each selected pet can be used in one or more situations. All turns every situation on or off for that pet.

Settings

Set a key for Change pet to summon another pet that matches the current situation. Random shuffle chooses each timer delay between the minimum and maximum.

Save and share setups

Open Save / Load to:

• Save the current pet and situation setup.
• Load a saved setup.
• Export a setup as a PETAL code.
• Import a PETAL code without replacing the current setup.

Installation

1. Download the latest release.
2. Copy the PETAL folder to World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/.
3. Restart World of Warcraft or type /reload if PETAL was already installed.
