What's Changed

Crash reporting reliability

  • Persist uncaught crash reports before process termination and deliver them after the app restarts in #323.
  • Retain pending reports until delivery reaches a terminal result, including across transient send, storage, and WorkManager failures in #323.
  • Evict the oldest cached report at capacity and trim the oldest reports when lowering the storage limit in #323.
  • Prevent onBeforeSend and persistence failures from crashing the host application in #323.

Dependency compatibility

  • Align transitive OkHttp dependencies with the OkHttp 5.4.0 BOM, preventing mixed OkHttp module versions in host applications, in #325.

Compatibility note

In 6.2.2 and earlier, setting maxReportsStoredOnDevice to 0 effectively disabled offline crash-report caching. Starting with 6.2.3, 0 is ignored and the current storage limit is retained. Set the limit to a value from 1 to 64.

  • No public method signatures or JVM ABI were changed.
  • Minimum Android SDK remains 23.
  • Compile SDK remains 36.

Release preparation

  • Prepared the 6.2.3 version metadata, changelog, compatibility note, and stable-version documentation in #330.
