Scriptyard 1.0
The first stable release of Scriptyard, a spatial story-planning tool for
screenwriters. Your work is now stored on your device and can optionally be
synced across devices with Google Drive.
What's new
- Google Drive sync. Back up and sync your boards across devices. Scriptyard
only uses its own hidden app storage in your Drive, so it can't see or change
any of your other files, and its data doesn't show up in your Drive folders
or count as files you manage. - Multiple boards. Create, switch between and manage several boards from
one Boards dialog, alongside your templates. - Trash and undelete. Deleted boards go to the trash and can be restored.
- Import by drag and drop. Drop a file onto the app to import it.
- Local-first storage. Boards and "My Templates" now live in the browser's
private file storage instead of localStorage. Existing templates are
migrated automatically.
Improvements
- Outline, Fountain and Final Draft (FDX) exports are now consistent with each
other, and several outline export bugs are fixed. - The About dialog shows the real version and build.
