Cryptography

  • AES-256-GCM for all encryption (CryptoKit)
  • HKDF-SHA256 key derivation with separate context strings per feature
  • 32-byte random salts stored in Keychain
  • Keys held in memory only — zeroed on lock

Installation

  1. Download AppLocker-3.3.dmg
  2. Open → drag AppLocker to Applications
  3. Launch from Applications
  4. Grant Accessibility permission when prompted

Requirements

  • macOS 13.0 or later (Ventura+)
  • Apple Silicon or Intel Mac

Signed with Developer ID Application, notarized by Apple, and stapled.
No Gatekeeper warnings on any supported Mac.
