v0.1.3 - Windows launcher and build tools

Windows launcher and source maintenance release.

• Rebuilt the native MTR-GWRE2 launcher with its supplied icon. It starts the game directly and needs no script runner or execution-policy changes.
• Replaced the Windows and Android build/package scripts with Python tools and updated the build guides.
• Preserved the existing game/runtime binaries, automatic save profile, full-game mode, 4K/1080p options and original 60 FPS behaviour. Windows logging remains limited to warnings and errors.

Download MTR-GWRE2-windows-x64.zip for a complete Windows installation. Supply your own extracted game files, open MTR-GWRE2.exe, select the game folder and press Play. Keep userdata and cache when updating. The separate MTR-GWRE2.exe asset is for updating the launcher in an existing installation and requires the game executable and runtime DLLs beside it.

The source archives attached to this release contain the updated build tools. The existing Android APK release is unchanged. No game files or saves are included.

Android v0.1.0

Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 for Android ARM64, using Vulkan and native 1080p rendering with the original 60 FPS game timing.

Install MTR-GWRE2-android-arm64.apk, open MTR-GWRE2 and allow file access. Copy your complete extracted game files into GWRE2 in the root of internal shared storage, with default.xex directly inside it, then choose Open game. A controller is required. No game files are included.

Includes automatic local save-profile setup, corrected Vulkan lighting and the Android performance fixes. Runtime logging and diagnostic output are disabled. Install over an existing test APK to keep saves. The ZIP includes the same APK, README, project license and third-party notices.

Android source and build instructions are in android/. The existing Windows release remains available separately.

v0.1.2 - Source archive cleanup

Download MTR-GWRE2-windows-x64.zip, extract it, and open MTR-GWRE2.exe. Browse to your extracted game folder containing default.xex, choose 4K or 1080p, and click Play.

Original game files are required and are not included. Keep your userdata and cache folders when updating.
