Limitations

Read these before quoting a number from this tool.

Dry basis only. Water vapour and humidity co-adsorption are not modelled; the feed is always treated as dry. Planned for a future version.
Two components. Not three, and no inert carrier beyond the second component.
Single column, single step. One adsorption or one desorption step. There is no cycle scheduling, no pressure equalisation, and no multi-column PSA/TSA sequence.
Radially lumped. One dimension along the bed, plus a wall energy balance. No radial profile.
Extreme parameter combinations deserve suspicion. Very small particle radii with high flow rates, in particular, can leave the correlations outside the range they were fitted in. Check the Computed Params tab — especially the minimum fluidisation velocity — before believing such a run.
Educational and exploratory use. Outputs should be validated against your own data and reviewed with engineering judgement before informing any design or decision. The author accepts no liability for results applied beyond that.
