Dependencies

This template is only tested on Texlive 2007 and Texlive 2009. Environments other than that is not recommended.

The Texlive packages on current Ubuntu (12.04) is still at version 2009, It is recommended to install tlmgr to directly install from CTAN. Texlive have been greatly improved since 2009 version. See discussion on stackexchange .

If you want to install the packages provided by Ubuntu. Install the following packages in order to compile the example thesis. Since there are drawing in the example, the Tikz/PGF packages are needed.

sudo apt-get install texlive texlive-latex-extra texlive-science pgf

Or you can fully install if you are lazy.

sudo apt-get install texlive-full
