OopsLayout

First public release — a tray app that fixes words typed in the wrong keyboard layout as you type (EN <-> RU/UK).

Download

Platform	Download
🪟 Windows	OopsLayout-Windows.exe
🍎 macOS (universal: Apple Silicon & Intel)	OopsLayout-mac.dmg

Highlights:

• Bigram-based detection — no dictionary, works both ways (ghbdtn -> привет, руддщ -> hello)
• Russian or Ukrainian as the Cyrillic target (pick in the tray)
• Password fields are never touched — not even buffered (UI Automation)
• Backspace = undo — right after a fix, Backspace brings your original text and layout back (Windows)
• Your own exceptions list, context-aware short words, ALL-CAPS left alone
• Stays out of editors/terminals, survives sleep, only switches to layouts you have installed

SmartScreen note: the exe is not code-signed — click More info -> Run anyway. See the README for privacy notes and the games/anti-cheat warning.

macOS: install steps (Gatekeeper, Accessibility) are in the macOS section of the README.
