Rebuild of Tailscale 1.98.8 from the consolidated source tree, in preparation for AXIS OS 13.

AXIS OS 13 readiness (standard aarch64 / armv7hf packages):

  • Rebuilt against ACAP Native SDK 12.10.0 (64-bit time / Y2038 compliant)
  • Migrated to Manifest Schema v2 with declared OS compatibility
  • All binaries audited for executable stack (clean)
  • Web UI verified end-to-end over HTTPS
  • The only remaining OS 13 item is signing via the Axis ACAP Portal

Improvements in all packages:

  • Wider verified compatibility: the standard packages work on Axis OS 10.12 through 12.x (previously stated as 11.11+); ROOT packages verified on 10.12–11.x
  • Fixed: the ROOT web UI incorrectly showed HTTP/SOCKS5 proxy settings and falsely reported save errors
  • Fixed: web UI compatibility with older firmware (glib symbol issue on OS 11.x and earlier)

The existing v1.98.8 packages continue to work; this release is recommended for new installs and anyone affected by the fixes above. Installing over an existing v1.98.8 keeps your Tailscale login and settings.

For legacy Axis OS 9.x/10.x ARMv7 cameras, use Tailscale_VPN_1_98_8_armv7hf_acap3.eap from the v1.98.8 release (unchanged).
