Summary

Version 1.8.9 adds a new simultaneous active-state mode for AND trigger logic, making it possible to fire a rule only when all triggers are active at the same time.

Added

• AND trigger logic: new All active simultaneously mode (now the default) — the rule fires only when every trigger is currently in its active state at the moment one of them activates. For example, a schedule trigger fires but only causes the rule to execute if an IO input is simultaneously active.
• AND trigger logic: Correlation window sub-mode preserves the previous behavior — all triggers must fire within a configurable time window (0 = no time limit).

Fixed

• AND_ACTIVE mode: momentary triggers (schedule, webhook, MQTT, rule_fired, manual) are now only treated as active when they are the trigger that actually just fired, not passively. Previously they were always considered active, which allowed stateful triggers to fire the rule without the momentary trigger occurring.

Notes

• Existing rules saved with trigger_logic: "AND" continue to use the correlation window mode unchanged — full backward compatibility.
