Release list
v0.2.1
Self-hosting fixes on top of v0.2.0. Image: ghcr.io/mogplex/mogplex:v0.2.1 (linux/amd64, linux/arm64).
# in .env
MOGPLEX_VERSION=v0.2.1docker compose up -d # migrate applies any new migrations before the new app startsChanges
- Setup doctor in the image. Check a Docker deployment without a checkout:
docker compose exec app node scripts/doctor.cjs(add--liveto test credentials). - OpenAI-compatible models count as configured. An OpenAI-compatible endpoint that lists models now counts as configured models.
/api/healthreportsmodels: configuredand the doctor passes. A base URL with noMOGPLEX_OPENAI_COMPATIBLE_MODELSwarns. - The doctor accepts
APP_URL, the only URL a prebuilt image needs, with the same precedence as the app. It previously demandedNEXT_PUBLIC_APP_URL. - Backend flags agree in the image. Both
MOGPLEX_DATA_BACKENDandNEXT_PUBLIC_MOGPLEX_DATA_BACKENDnow come from the build arg. This fixes a false "backend flags disagree" in the doctor, and a server running asneonin a Supabase build.
CI runs the doctor inside the image on both architectures, against the bundled and an external database (#655).

v0.2.0
First published release of Mogplex, the open-source platform for agent-native software development, and the first with prebuilt self-host images. Mogplex is pre-1.0 and runs mogplex.com from this same code; expect fast iteration between releases.
Run it yourself
curl -fsSLO https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Mogplex/mogplex/v0.2.0/docker-compose.yml
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Mogplex/mogplex/v0.2.0/.env.example -o .env
# edit .env: APP_URL, BETTER_AUTH_SECRET, CRON_SECRET, and the services you use
echo MOGPLEX_VERSION=v0.2.0 >> .env
docker compose up -d- One multi-arch image,
ghcr.io/mogplex/mogplex:v0.2.0(linux/amd64 and linux/arm64), runs the web app, the migration runner, and the cron scheduler. Compose adds Postgres 17 with pgvector, or points at your own database (#651, #652). - Cloud-agnostic. Run it on any host that runs OCI images, or deploy to your own Vercel team.
APP_URLis read at runtime, so one image serves any domain. - Self-host mode (
MOGPLEX_SELF_HOSTED=1) grants platform AI and sandbox access without Stripe (#643). - Guided setup: create the GitHub App from a manifest at
/admin/setup/github, ship the Slack app from its manifest (#645), and check a deployment withpnpm setup:doctor(#646). - Bring your own services: self-hosted Trigger.dev (#642) and any OpenAI-compatible model endpoint, such as LiteLLM, vLLM, or Ollama (#647).
- CI boots the compose stack on both architectures, against both the bundled and an external database, for every change to the image.
Guide: https://docs.mogplex.com/self-hosting. Sandboxes still run on Vercel Sandbox; a pluggable sandbox backend is the next self-hosting milestone.
Highlights
Control, the main agent surface. A coordinator that codes directly in an isolated sandbox, with a live changed-files panel to diff, revert, commit, and open a pull request without leaving the page. It loads your connection tools and curated memories, and keeps task tools beside the conversation.
Durable runs with checkpoints. Long runs pause at harness checkpoints, commit and push before pausing, and resume as a fresh segment from the pushed branch. Codex sandbox runs are driven through the Agent Client Protocol, and Codex and Claude Code get the native agent's tools.
Agents, skills, and memories. Roster agents run everywhere with skills, rules, and team sharing. A skill catalog that users invoke by name and agents search, across Control, automations, the CLI harness, the API, and MCP.
Automations. Scheduled, webhook, and GitHub-event automations, including a PR review agent that fixes its own review format, a Classify node that routes on a judged answer, and committed run artifacts readable over the API.
Connections and MCP. Saved HTTP MCP servers in web chat, connection diagnostics and per-connection approval before tools run, and a Trigger.dev preset covering the management API.
Slack as a first-class trigger. DMs and threads start repo-bound agent runs with live actions in the thread, cancellation commands, and connection repair from Slack.
Public API, MCP server, and CLI. Start, inspect, and control runs from your own tools, with API keys that owners can limit to automations.
Decision layer. Closed-question checks for command risk, hidden tool failures, and unsupported claims, which only ever add caution. Teams and individuals can turn run checks off.
Platform. Neon Postgres and Better Auth, AI SDK 7, team roles, an audit log, and capacity-based billing for mogplex.com.
