Photo Editor

• Redesigned Layout: Replaced the horizontal scrolling tool row with 4 bottom categories: Transform, Adjust, Markup, and Privacy.
• Stable Canvas: Tool panels now have a fixed container height so switching between tools never causes the image canvas to resize or jump.
• Brush Tool: Freehand color drawing with brush size slider, color palette, eraser, undo, and redo.
• Text Overlays: Add movable text overlays with adjustable font size, text color, and background styling (dark, light, or transparent).
• Resize Dialog: Moved pixel width/height inputs and aspect ratio locking into a dedicated dialog accessible from the Transform panel.
• AVIF Support: Added libavif decoder fallback to open and edit AVIF images that fail on Android's native decoder (such as AV1 files with yuv422p chroma subsampling).
• External Editor Support: Added an editor chooser sheet to open images in installed third-party editors (Snapseed, Lightroom, ImageToolbox, etc.).

Viewer & Video Player

• Swipe to Dismiss: Added a downward pull gesture to quickly close the photo/video viewer.
• Viewer Deletion Flow: Deleting an item in the viewer now smoothly advances to the next photo instead of kicking you out to the grid.
• File Renaming: You can now rename files directly from the top-right menu and the details sheet.
• Set as Wallpaper: Added a wallpaper shortcut to set any image as your home screen, lock screen, or both.
• Video Looping: Added a repeat toggle button in the bottom video controls row.
• Configurable Double-Tap: Choose whether double-tapping a video toggles play/pause or zooms in.
• Swipe Spacing: Added spacing between photos while swiping horizontally in the viewer.
• Animated Formats: Registered decoders for animated GIF and WebP files.

Vault

• Album Structure: The vault now tracks the original folder and album names of protected items, displaying them under an Albums tab inside the vault.
• Folder Restoration: Unlocking files restores them back to their original albums and folders instead of dumping everything into a single directory.
• Lock Entire Albums: Long-pressing an album in the Albums tab lets you move the entire album to the vault at once.
• Card View: Vault albums now use standard grid cards instead of text buttons.

Library & Organization

• Directory Browser: Added a filesystem browser in the Library tab with options to toggle between card and list views.
• Storage Scanning: Added indexing for secondary SD cards and an on-demand rescan button in settings.
• Album Cards: Removed the intrusive unpinned push-pin overlay from album covers; only pinned albums show a small badge.
• Custom Reordering: Moved the manual album order controls to a dedicated edit button in the top bar next to settings.
• Memories Multi-Select: Enabled multi-selection inside Memories grids so you can select and share multiple photos at once.
• Landscape Navigation: Added a floating bottom navigation bar in landscape orientation with full AMOLED black support.

Fixes & Performance

• Optimistic Deletion: Items disappear from the grid immediately when deleted, removing noticeable lag on slow storage.
• Smooth Fast-Scroll: Fixed the scrollbar jumping when date headers enter the viewport during scrubbing.
• Startup Theme Fix: Removed the splash delay and fixed a white flash on startup when using dark or AMOLED themes.
• EXIF Camera Model: Stripped the redundant camera make prefix from the model field (e.g. preventing "Google Pixel" inside the model field when make is already "Google").
• Settings Preview: Fixed an issue where changing the grid tile size preview overlapped neighboring rows in settings.
• Date Picker Animation: Added smooth height transitions when selecting custom date formats.
• Translations: Integrated 54 Polish translations (thanks to @tmpjx555 in #62) and updated French and Arabic translations to full parity.
