Orbit v1.0.0

The first public release of Orbit: your Android phone and Windows PC, in one orbit. No account, no cloud, free and open source.

Install

• Windows 10/11 (x64): download OrbitSetup-1.0.0.exe and run it. Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" because the installer isn't code-signed yet: click More info → Run anyway.
• Android 10+: download Orbit-1.0.0-android.apk on your phone and open it (allow installs from your browser when asked).
• Open Orbit on both, then pair by scanning the QR code on the PC, or plug in with USB debugging on and click Pair over USB.

Prefer no installer? Orbit-1.0.0-windows-x64.zip runs from any folder. Verify downloads with SHA256SUMS.txt.

What's in 1.0.0

• Clipboard: copy on the PC, paste on the phone automatically; phone → PC with one tap. Private copies from password managers are skipped.
• Notifications: phone notifications on the PC with app icons; dismiss on either side. Per-app filter, do not disturb, hide-text mode.
• Files: drag and drop or Share → Orbit, with resume if the connection drops.
• Battery: phone charge and charging status, with a low-battery alert.
• Screen mirroring: see and control your phone from the PC, with audio, screenshots and recording (built on scrcpy). Over USB, or Wi-Fi after a one-time setup.
• Auto USB tethering: plug in and the laptop goes online through the phone.
• Earbuds: battery, noise control, sound and tap settings for realme / OnePlus buds, on both devices.
• Connects over USB, USB tethering, the phone's hotspot, the same Wi-Fi, or a manual address. Mutual TLS with keys pinned at pairing.
