Bug fixes

  • The ipaddress type was already supported by the Cursor.fetch* methods but was not yet supported by Cursor.execute().

  • The Connection.autocommit field now correctly reflects changes in the autocommit status caused by SQL statements such asSTART TRANSACTION, COMMIT or ROLLBACK.

  • Cursor.rownumber is now set correctly. It used to be -1 instead of None when the Cursor was just created, and would sometimes not get reset when the Cursor switched to a new result set.

  • Fetching OID columns would return function objects instead of values. Now it returns a string representation of the OID, such as 10@0

  • It is normal to encounter some No-such-database errors while scanning /tmp for the right server socket. These errors are no longer logged at level ERROR.
