1.3.0
Version 1.3.0 Introduces:
Locator
Locator Command: Default 'Q'
Configure with locate = "q"
In Free Mouse Mode, pressing the Locator Command will create red circles around the cursor temporarily. Useful for finding the mouse when it's lost/blended into the background.
Super Fast Mode
In Free Mouse mode, while pressing the "fast" mode , if SHIFT is held down, it will go even faster. In my use case, I added it to scroll documents super fast as fast scrolling on long documents was still a bit slow.
systemd service
In the package there is now an installer that will copy fievel bin to your .local/bin folder and install a systemd service. This is completely optional and fievel can still be run normally with ./fievel; however, if you want a service that automatically starts Fievel and restarts it on crash, you can use the systemd service to do so. Note: installing systemd services should always be done with care, and you should inspect the scripts prior to installation to ensure I am not trying to do anything nefarious! Again, completely optional, but I found it useful for myself.
1.2.0 Fievel - Toggle Mode
Improvements to hint mode detection, and introduction of toggle hold.
In hold mode, where free mouse mode activation needs to be held, the toggle hold (default 'z') will keep free mouse mode enabled until free mouse mode button is pressed again.
Useful for if you're using free mouse mode for an extended duration, you can temporarily keep it enabled and can let go of the free mouse mode button(s).
Tutorial video coming as well.
