HomeBoard v0.3.1 adds the Family Hub dashboard theme, more flexible screen design and simpler calendar provider selection.
Highlights
- Family Hub theme: a navy dashboard with a coloured, time-aligned family week, shared lists, photos, weather and news.
- Weather and bins: four weather styles, including graphical scenes, plus a next-collection-only bin option that includes bins collected together.
- Tablet previews: Amazon Fire 10 at 1920 × 1200, more tablet sizes, portrait layouts and custom usable viewport dimensions.
- Flexible designer: weather-over-photo overlays, movable/resizable text groups and bin cards, and independent dashboard and family organiser drafts.
- Easier navigation: family organiser shortcut immediately before fullscreen.
- Calendar providers: private iCloud calendars with app-specific passwords and Microsoft 365/Outlook or Google calendars using supported secure OAuth sign-in. Microsoft supports personal, Family and work/school account choices. Microsoft and Google calendar APIs do not use app passwords.
- Other improvements since v0.3.0: richer panel typography, cropping, layers and clock composition; direct Octopus smart charging; better Safari sizing, tablet calendar density, build refresh, and Proxmox installation/update reliability.
Validation
182 automated tests passed locally and in the production Docker image. The Chrome browser suite passed all 53 checks. Docker build, boot, assets, APIs and restart persistence checks passed with disposable data. Live account consent and physical Fire, iPad and Android device checks remain unverified.
The attached ZIP contains the committed v0.3.1 source. Runtime data, credentials, local configuration and unrelated workspace files are excluded.
