Draftsafe 0.8.1

Draftsafe 0.8.1

First public update artifact for Draftsafe. The source repository remains private during this trial; the downloadable add-on and MCP bundle contain readable code.

• Faster paged mail search and read-only recipient suggestions.
• One combined Thunderbird add-on with native compose review, editing and attachments. Sending still requires your click in Thunderbird.
• Self-hosted Thunderbird update metadata and a signed opt-in MCP update feed.
• Isolated Thunderbird smoke checks passed on the tagged source commit.

Version 0.8.0 was a private candidate whose release workflow failed before publication. It has no public download.

The 0.7.0 add-on needs one manual upgrade to join the self-hosted update channel. Thunderbird can check later add-on releases normally. The MCP updater stages newer verified bundles for the next launch when enabled.

See the files in this repository for the two stable update manifests and exact checksums.
