v0.60.0
Changed
- The Events tool is now Calendars. A calendar is a shareable container for events — like a project contains tasks — with its own name, description, and color. Sharing moves from individual events to the calendar: whoever can see a calendar sees its events, and whoever can edit it can create, edit, and move events inside it. Color belongs to the calendar too: events no longer carry their own color and always render in their calendar's. Attendees are unchanged (invitations and RSVPs stay per event) but never affect who can see an event. The calendar page lists your calendars alongside a derived, read-only calendar per project showing its task dates, each with its own visibility toggle. Existing events are preserved: every initiative that had events gets a renamable "Default Calendar" containing them, readable by all initiative members with initiative managers as owners — events that were previously shared more narrowly become visible to their whole initiative, so admins should move sensitive events into a restricted calendar after upgrading.
Fixed
- Create buttons and initiative pickers for projects, documents, calendars, queues, and counter groups now consistently follow your actual per-initiative create permission. Members whose custom role grants creation see the affordances everywhere they apply, and buttons or picker entries the server would reject no longer appear.
- The calendar page now offers event creation in the all-initiatives view when you can write to at least one calendar — the create dialog picks the target calendar, defaulting to the one you used last.
- Platform staff acting in a guild through a scoped, time-bound access grant no longer see create buttons for new projects, documents, calendars, queues, or counter groups. Such a grant edits existing content only — the server already declined those creations, and the UI now reports the same answer instead of offering a dialog that fails on submit.
- The global "+" quick-create for documents and tasks (the bottom-bar menu and the command palette) now follows your create permission: its items hide when you can't create the thing in any of your guilds, and the wizards list only the guilds and initiatives you can actually create in — so you no longer walk through a wizard only to be refused on submit.
