Requirements
- Greaseweazle Hardware: Make sure you have the Greaseweazle device properly connected to your Amiga disk drive and Windows PC.
- Greaseweazle Software: Ensure that is installed and accessible from the paths specified in the utility.

Using the Utility
Step 1: Launch the Utility
Open the Amiga Disk Utility by double-clicking the executable file. The main interface will appear, displaying various options for configuring your data transfer operation.
Step 2: Select Operation Mode
At the top of the interface, you will find a dropdown menu labeled "Select Function". Click this menu to choose one of the following modes:
Amiga to Windows: Copies data from an Amiga disk to your Windows machine.
Windows to Amiga: Writes data from your Windows machine to an Amiga disk.
Initially, the dropdown will display "Select Function" as the default option. You must choose a mode to proceed.
Step 3: Configure Paths and Settings
Depending on the operation mode you selected in Step 2, the fields you need to configure will differ.
For Amiga to Windows:
Path to gw.exe:
Click the "Browse" button to locate and select the gw.exe file on your system. This file is essential for interfacing with the Greaseweazle hardware.
ADF File Name:
Enter a name for the ADF file that will be created on your Windows machine. This will be the output file from the Amiga disk.
Disk Number (optional):
If you are working with multiple disks, you can specify a disk number to help organize your files. This number will be appended to the file name.
Save Directory:
Click the "Browse" button to select the directory where the copied ADF file will be saved on your Windows machine.
For Windows to Amiga:
Path to gw.exe:
Click the "Browse" button to locate and select the gw.exe file on your system.
ADF File Path:
Click the "Browse" button to select the ADF file you wish to write to the Amiga disk.
Step 4: Execute the Operation
Review Your Settings:
Ensure all required fields are correctly filled based on the operation mode you selected.
Click "Run":
The utility will execute the selected operation using the provided settings.
Completion Notification:
Once the process is complete, a message box will appear to confirm that the operation was successful. You can check the specified directory for the output files.

- File or Directory Not Found: Ensure that all paths are correctly specified and that the necessary files exist at those locations.
- Greaseweazle Device Issues: Make sure the Greaseweazle device is properly connected and configured. Refer to the Greaseweazle documentation for hardware-specific troubleshooting.
- Invalid Function Selection: If you attempt to run the utility without selecting a valid function from the dropdown menu, you will be prompted to choose a function before proceeding.
