The application database (the data set) is automatically saved whenever a document is modified or created. This allows data to be retained even in the event of premature closure of the application.
However, it is sometimes useful to back up the database at a specific time, for example to transfer it or keep a backup if a problem occurs in the application at the time of a save. This is why the application integrates a backup system.

Use of backups

Backups are backups of the database at a specific time. They contain all the data except the files on the computer referenced in the documents (references are saved).

Create a backup

In order to create a backup, simply select "File" from the menu bar, then "Export Backup". This will create a file in the "Backups" folder named according to the following standard: "Database_backup_(date)-(time). back"

Load a backup

To reload a backup, simply select "File" in the menu bar, then "Import backup". A window will open to select the file to load.
