First tagged release of excel-skills, a plugin for Claude Code and Codex with two agent skills for Excel workbooks.

excel-power-query: map every Power Query in a workbook, trace which workbook feeds which, export the M code, and refresh from the command line on macOS with proof.

excel-write-verify: change values, formulas and columns inside an .xlsx file while Power Query, tables and notes stay intact; prove the result with a cell-by-cell diff, a structural check and an independent recalculation; replace a shared file safely.

In this release:

  • MIT license.
  • Test suite that runs on Linux, macOS and Windows with Python 3.8 to 3.13.
  • xlsx_check.py accepts workbooks written by openpyxl.
