Fix "black screen":
SteamVR, Right Click, properties, launch options, add ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/SteamVR/bin/vrmonitor.sh %command%
(Very optional) If it also doesn't work then:
add launch options steam-runtime-launch-options -- %command% and set Container runtime to None
