READ THIS

The main purpose of this release is finding bugs, so idk how stable it is. Download at your own risk

This is a colossal update, so if you are trying load a save file that was using an older version of the mod, MAKE SURE NO VORE IS HAPPENING and NO CHARACTERS ARE PREDS before updating.

The save file may not load at all because of the root template changes.

Ring of gluttony was removed, so if you have it in your old save:

  1. Give it to the main character
  2. Use console command Osi.TemplateRemoveFrom('68cb4b45-ae3f-4028-9535-ebcb8381051d', Osi.GetHostCharacter(), 9999)
  3. If you still can't load the save file, delete the following items as well: 91cb93c0-0e07-4b3a-a1e9-a836585146a9 (Debug ring), f3914e54-2c48-426a-a338-8e1c86ebc7be (Potion of Gluttony), 319379c2-3627-4c26-b14d-3ce8abb676c3 (Potion of Inedibility) with the same command

If you've managed to load an old save, use KillVore and GiveMeVore console commands in the script extender console (can be turned on in mod manager settings). The first command will delete the old tables used for storing data, and the second one will give you a potion that unlocks a spell, which allows you to give or remove vore abilities from any character. This is the only thing that you really need from the tutorial chest, everything else is for debug purposes or can be unlocked with feats.

Bugs

This release should be playable, but there may be some bugs that we've missed.

If you've encountered a bug, make sure you check the console for errors (red text). If there are errors in console, than it is almost certainly a bug, otherwise it might be just some unexpected behavior.

There are a couple of bugs that I am aware of, but they can't be easily fixed:

  1. Sometimes a character stands still for a second or two after using a swallow spell. This has something to do with animations. If this happens too often, saving and reloading might help.
  2. "Switch to Lethal" spell container sometimes works in a weird way, but it doesn't affect gameplay
  3. When attempting to endo a non-party member, sometimes a roll is required, and sometimes it is not required, idk what is the internal logic of bg3's language
  4. Shapeshifted and transformed characters have no bellies
  5. If bg3 is installed in certain non-standard directories, script extender might be unable to write to VoreConfig.json. Manually download VoreConfig.json from OldFiles
  6. Most of the spells that you receive by drinking the debug spells potion are not yet implemented.
  7. If you have Compatibility Framework, the warlock subclass is missing

Config

Config is generated after loading a game for the first time after installing the mod.

It is located in AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Script Extender\DevouringAndDigesting

Only edit the "value" field of each option, do not change the default, description, or anything else!

There are many features that are turned off by default, make sure to carefully read through the config and customize everything according to your preferences.

Personally, I play with almost everything turned on.

I don't recommend editing the specific numbers unless you know what you are doing.

Changes and features

Many of these features can be customized in the config.

  • Added other types of vore (anal, unbirth, cock). They are mostly identical to oral, and they can be unlocked via drinking a potion from the tutorial chest, or with feats

  • When you are digesting a prey, all endoed preys in the same locus will begin being digested as well, this also includes items (the game thinks the items are inside the pred's stomach, so for example digesting unbirthed prey should not trigger item digestion)

  • Added the indigestion mechanic - when a prey passes a struggle check, they will not escape, but instead the pred will receive an indigestion stack. At 5 stacks of indigestion, pred will regurgitate all preys

  • To compensate for this, after swallowing a prey, pred will have to use the "Swallow Down" spell to finish the swallowing process, otherwise the prey will automatically escape after 2 turns. If the prey is larger then pred, the pred will have to use the "Swallow Down" spell 1 more time per difference in size category, and if prey is smaller, then pred will immediately swallow them without having to use the "Swallow Down" spell.

  • Preys are now able to act while inside the pred. Lethal swallowed prey have disadvantage against the pred, and they cannot use spells with somatic components.

  • Added a "switch to lethal" spell for preds

  • Added a spell for preds which damages all lethally swallowed prey (costs an action)

  • Added an overstuffing mechanic, which allows preds to swallow things that exceed their capacity, but this will deal damage to them

  • Added a "Swallow Me" spell, which can be gained by drinking a potion from the tutorial chest or as a part of a certain feat

  • Random npcs will become preds, and they will use vore in combat.

  • The probability of an NPC becoming a pred depends on their race, size, and sex. This can be customized in config.

  • NPCs have a 50% chance to release their endoed prey on long rest - this is implemented so that the characters won't get stuck inside of an npc.

  • Added and option in config to toggle between slow and fast digestion. During slow digestion, prey's weight will be gradually reduced on short and long rests, and you'll be able to dispose of them / absorb them once their weight is 1/5th of the original. The fast digestion immediately sets their weight to 1/5th of the original when they die.

  • Added a weight gain system. Currently it just slightly increases the belly size, because there are no ways to make the character model fatter.

  • Added a hunger system (for party members who are preds). You'll gain hunger stacks on resting, and you'll loose them by spending satiation stacks. The satiation stacks are gained from digesting organic prey. If you digest a lot of prey, you won't get any hunger stacks for some time because you'll have a lot of satiation stacks. Only the hunger stacks are displayed, the satiation stacks are hidden, but you can see them in console output. When the amount of hunger stacks reaches certain thresholds, you gain a debuff that will reduce your stats, and you'll have a small chance or randomly starting to digest endoed prey.

  • If you have fat from the weight gain and no satiation stacks, the fat will be used to compensate for half of the gained hunger stacks

  • Weight gain and hunger system should work with both slow and fast digestion

  • Improved and added some bellies

  • Added a couple of bellies for male preds

  • No small races and dragonborn yet (

  • Added a warlock subclass

  • Added many feats for both preds and preys. I recommend using a mod which will give you more frequent feats, because otherwise you'll have to sacrifice useful combat feats for vore feats

  • Many other fixes and changes
