Fixed

  • Pristine-machine install path restored. The system-scope installer's shared helper script was being excluded from GitHub Pages publication by Jekyll's default behavior, which treats underscore-prefixed files as private. The helper has been renamed to remove the underscore prefix so it now publishes correctly. The documented one-liner from INSTALL.md §5.5.2 works on a clean machine again.

Upgrade notes

No operator action required. Existing installs are unaffected — the helper file ships in the release archive and works fine on disk. Only the GitHub-Pages-served path was broken; renaming restores the documented install path.
