What's new

Major stability, privacy and bugfix update since v6.24:

  • No more random relaunches or self-closing: the app survives floating windows, split-screen and rotation
  • Fixed the leftover black screen after opening external links (Reddit/X/LinkedIn) and the brief black flash when returning from the task manager
  • Sharing files into WebGPT now attaches them automatically, with a "please wait" notice and a manual fallback if automatic attaching ever fails
  • Sharing text opens WebGPT in its own window with the chat box focused, ready to paste
  • The in-chat Share button works now: images and links open the Android share sheet
  • Chat exports (PDF, Word, Markdown) and generated files download reliably to your Downloads folder with proper filenames
  • The keyboard no longer opens on its own when opening an existing chat or returning to the app
  • Voice mode and camera attachments now work — permissions are requested when needed
  • Privacy: session cookies kept out of cloud backups, third-party cookies blocked, unencrypted traffic disabled
  • Smoother loading: the loading screen clears the moment the page is really ready, not on a fixed timer
  • Removed the broken desktop-mode toggle (it also logged you out on every restart)
  • Close button now closes the app instead of the pop-up when the website fails to load
