Lesson 14
After carefully reading Chapter 10, answer as a group (the entire class) and in less than 150 words in this thread what the main takeaway of the chapter is and why.
In addition, reach out to two classmates to form a trio to make a 3-minute presentation in class about the chapter. Feel free to pick the theme and angle for this group presentation (Only one person per group should be making the presentation -- with everyone's support --, as the other two will be asking a follow-up question and making a critical review in class).
State here the members of each group. There will be 4 trios and only 1 quartet. No more than one quartet will be accepted. If you reach out to a classmate and they are already committed, reach out to another one until you find one. Tip: Refrain from reaching out to classmates just because they are the easiest ones to contact, you feel more comfortable with, they look like you, speak like you, share the same background, etc.
Use this opportunity to hone your networking skills and strategically reach out to classmates that has gained your respect in class based on their sustained commitment to the course, their work ethic, their interpersonal skills, etc. Tip: Feel free to decline invites if you have already committed to one group. Also, you may decline invites from classmates you feel not comfortable with; however, I would suggest taking this invite as an opportunity to challenge yourself and grow from this pre-judgment so that you can be either pleasantly surprised or simply confirm your intuition about the work ethic of this classmate(s).
Once again, list here the names of each trio once they have formed so as to avoid classmates reaching out to you. Note: You cannot add your name to a group listed here without reaching out first and the consent of all group members. If someone does it, the group members should delete the name arbitrarily added and politely ask this classmate to find a trio that has still not been created.
Finally, add two or three very brief statements next to the group members about what the group will be presenting in the context of the chapter so we know what to expect. Make the presentation engaging and memorable. Feel free to be creative and original. Use only your voice; no prompts or visuals are allowed. Please do not read off prompts and do not ask AI to generate the script of this presentation. Trust your individual and collective intelligence.
