Easier first-run setup

  • Onboarding now adapts based on whether you want to use Muesli for dictation, meetings, or both.
  • Dictation-only setup is shorter and no longer asks for meeting-specific permissions upfront.
  • Meeting permissions can be skipped and configured later.
  • Permission and restart flows are more reliable, with better recovery if macOS sends you to System Settings.

Better model preparation

  • Dictation testing now waits until the selected local model is downloaded, compiled, and warmed up.
  • Model download and preparation progress is clearer during onboarding.
  • Added Whisper Tiny English as a faster first-run model option for quicker setup.

Meeting detection improvements

  • Browser meeting detection is more reliable and less likely to show false prompts.
  • Meeting prompts have a clearer close control and better dismissal behavior.
  • Added settings for meeting detection notifications.

Fixes

  • Fixed custom onboarding hotkeys not carrying through correctly after setup.
  • Fixed the floating dictation indicator showing stale shortcut text after hotkey changes.
  • Improved screen/context permission handling and recovery.
